Elective II Confirmation --- CV 1 batch, HCI 2 Batches

First of all I am extremely sorry for letting you on hanging for three days (I was suppose to mail this on 24th).

Please make sure all those who want CV as elective choice have their names in this list and there are no other students in your class who want to change elective to CV here after.(list has 17 students)

We are incorporating CV into already set timetable and having 1 practical batch of students and remaining two batches will go for HCI (Human computer Interaction) as elective.

I hope there is only two factions in the class and there is no other group of students going for different elective. (Even if they are they have to accept one of the two subjects)

Don't read this <If there is any logistics problem (availability of faculty, time table slots, room etc. (rarely)) I will let you now through this blog entry by 24th Dec 2012.>

Don't Read this <Till then enjoy your vacations and let department know if there is any change of mind over CV as elective. In advance Merry Christmas >

:) In advance Happy New Year....!!!

TE & BE Comp Students- Research Program

Information about the Research Development & Innovation Lab (RDIL) in Pune.

RDIL provides a great opportunity to work on R&D projects on cutting-edge technologies and develop R&D skill-set in you, necessary to be able to innovate, as a student, professional, or senior researcher. You can visit us at http://www.rdil.in for more information.

You may ask how students or professionals who are not in Pune can enroll in these research programs. RDIL's research programs are rigorous hands-on R&D skill-set development programs and therefore except in case of Advanced Program, both the Academic and Professional programs, require students or professionals to be in Pune, for 1 year. In special cases (where commuting is difficult) RDIL can offer its research programs by providing research guidance remotely. RDIL equips students and professionals, with necessary R&D skill-set, which gives them an extra-edge in their knowledge and with R&D experience certificate of 1 year, they can either persue higher-education in
India/US or join R&D company or start their own business, anywhere
they wish!

BE Comps : Black Book Format

Hi all,

Please refer to link below as official black book format for current academic year i.e. 2011-12

Black Book Formating tips

Some clarification:

1. Since format is same as that is circulated in IT, where ever department name is mentioned consider it to be Computer instead of IT (your are good at making assumptions :)).

2. There are some places where academic year is mentioned  which are to be replaced with your academic year i.e. 2011-12.

3. Although this format is final, you also need to consult your respective guides regarding some modifications in it as per project demand.

4. Your guides will be best judge for the number of chapters and sequence in which they appear and this can be different for different types of projects only things to remember is formatting of all bkacl books across our department must be based on the supplied .pdf files

Suggest new design for the blog as it turn an year old

Hi all,

I was just going through older entries in the blog and found that it was Jan 22nd 2011 the first entry on this blog was listed.

Thanks to prof S. M. Patil sir and prof. Prasad Deshmukh sir whose brainchild is bringing us together through this informal though powerful tool of information dissemination.

Since its inception the blog has proved a very efficient way to pass on messages and notices and share thoughts with you people.

I am not sure though all our existing students are reading the blog regularly ?? ? May be lack of knowledge about it ??? If It is so I want all of you who are members to ask your friends on campus to start looking at blog often, so that we would be assured that the message we want to convey reaches till the last student in the class (department).

You all will be knowing that prof. Prasad sir has left for a very good opportunity, to work with Infosys, since 2nd jan 2012. I know we will miss him and his new ideas, but at least we can keep this bloging idea alive by giving it new design on its 1st B'day.

What say ..... ????  I want your suggestion on how to give it a better look from its first b'day.

I need some comments on this blog entry........... :)    (Let me check if sir has enabled the comments or not ??? ) :)
