* : We have considered only E Com as elective for BE. There is still no confirmation from students about Soft Cumputing (SC) actual student count. If there are more than 15 students who want SC as elective then only will be offered. Those who want SC as elective must submit a common application form to your Class Incharge prof Kaalyani Modem.

BE Comp 2012-13 : Company Projects (out house)

      If some of you are planning industry projects as BE projects and want college letter for introduction/recommendation you can get the same from Mrs. Renuka Sanga who is project co-ordinator for upcomming academic session.
       Also you can communicate your project related queries with her. Also please communicate any changes in the project groups if so ever to her after 11th July. Project group can be of any size till 3 and only a group or so can be of size 4 if students remain. Your seminar groups are by default your project groups.
      Don't panic if your seminar group partner is having Golden KT as if group size later gets reduced we would judge the project accordingly and students doing project wont suffer.

BE Project academic year 2012-13 early start

B.E.Comp 2012-2013,

      By now you must have started screening for BE project topics. If not, start doing it in the vacation period.    

       Following is  the list of Project titles of academic year 2011-12, which can be extended further as BE projects during academic year 2012-13. If you are interested in any of the areas and extending any of given Project topics, please contact to following staff members in order to get black book and synopsis for these projects.




       By extending, we do not mean re-doing same work but enhancing the project further. You must go through the work done by current project team and write a single page proposal stating the changes/additions you want to do in the projects and submit it with department project coordinator.  Proposal must contain email id of    at least 1 team member so that they can further be communicated the acceptance or rejection of the proposal.

       In regards to your projects if you have any doubts you can raise them by commenting to this blog post.

This is the notice for all the final year students, about the campus interview for he company GTT(Global Talent Track  )which is interested to recruit students for training session
on java as Software Application Developer. Tentative Date for written test is 30/5/12 .Following is the information we got from the company

About Global Talent Track
Global Talent Track (GTT) is one of the best corporate trainers among Top IT MNCs in India, set up by some of the best minds from the industry, education & technology domains. The venture aims to provide ‘quality with scale’. GTT works closely with academia and industry to design career oriented learning content by taking inputs from the industry experts, providing technology platform to host the content with the help of CISCO Systems Inc. & manage entire delivery process.

GTT has the support of the Intel Capital Inc. and Helion Ventures for providing strategic advantage and to boost its expansion plans.

We are inviting students to become software application developer. Students will be assisted through the training to become software application developer wherein there successful application will be uploaded on Intel or Google platforms. We request the students to become a part of this recruitment procedure.


SELECTION PROCEDURE

The complete procedure will involve:

1. Presentation about the Industry and work.
2. Skill test on Java
3. Interview and Final Shortlisting
4. Letter of Selection
5. Paid Training.


PROFILE:  Intel App Developer  or Google App Developer (Platform  Java)

MONTHLY INCOME: 1500/-  further income for the students is from open source i.e. on the sale of their software application through a online platform which is unlimited.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Candidates will get the opportunity to enter the IT industry as a software application developer. Working Tenure as an  Application developer will be for 4-6months.


ELIGIBILITY: Candidates who are below 60% and above 40% from IT background,  candidates who are not yet placed and want to start their career as software developer immediately.


AFTER COMPLETION OF WORK TENURE: After  completion of work tenure, candidates will be getting placement leads with the IT MNCs  who are looking for experienced professionals.

Considering these statistics Department Will offer 2 electives for seventh semester namely E-Comm and Soft-Comp.  Please go through the sheet to know weather your choice of elective is correct or not. Especially those who have opted for Soft computing make sure you want to take this as elective. You can report any change in your plans before 21st May by communicating same to Mr. Prateeek Deshmukh.
